Uzbek Textile Enterprises “Bakan Tex”, “FT Textile Group” Enter New Markets
Two large companies of Uzbekistan for the production of yarn, “Bakan Tex” and “FT Textile Group” took part in the international exhibition “Cairo Fashion & Tex-2022”. As part of the event, agreements were signed with new partners.
From March 2 to 4, Cairo hosted the international exhibition “Cairo Fashion & Tex-2022”. This is the first and only international exhibition specialized in yarns, fabrics, clothing, and consumables and supplies in Egypt. “Cairo Fashion & Tex-2022” is an approved event from UFI (Universal Association of the Exhibition Industry). The exhibition is designated as “UFI event”, which is a proof of high quality, thus providing exhibitors and visitors with confidence in investment and business.
The event annually brings together major manufacturers and suppliers from more than 60 countries. The exhibition was founded in 1993 and is held under the auspices of the Egyptian Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Egyptian Chamber of Clothing and Home Textiles.
Two large enterprises of Uzbekistan for the production of yarn “Bakan Tex” and “FT Textile Group”, which are part of the Orient group of companies, took part in the exhibition and presented their products.
“Bakan Tex” and “FT Textile Group” specialize in the production of 100% cotton compact-combed yarn of the rotor spinning method. The enterprises opened in 2017 and have already managed to establish themselves not only in the local market, but also abroad. The enterprises export their products to such countries as Turkey, Russia, Belarus, Poland, Iran, Moldova, Spain, Germany, Peru, Greece, China, Kyrgyzstan and Egypt.
“Cairo Fashion & Tex-2022” was a good opportunity for “BakanTex” and “FT Textile Group” for brand recognition, meeting potential business partners, networking and getting information about the latest textile and light industry. Interest in products manufactured in Uzbekistan is growing every day, which is confirmed by increasing exports.
The enterprises of “Bakan Tex” and “FT Textile Group” are fully equipped with modern high-tech equipment manufactured by leading foreign manufacturers: Trützschler, Toyota-Trützschler, Saurer, Stienmann, Neuenhauser, Rosink (all made in Germany), Uster (Switzerland), Temsan and Kavurlar (Turkey). The latest equipment from world leaders favorably distinguishes “Bakan Tex”, “FT Textile Group” from other enterprises in the market of Uzbekistan. Today, the enterprises employ over 700 people. The management pays great attention to their regular training and advanced training. One of the competitive advantages of “Bakan Tex” and “FT Textile Group” is advanced technologies that help to produce large volumes of high-quality and environmentally friendly products.
The production lines of Bakan Tex and FT Textile Group constantly control the quality. This is an insignificant risk of detecting defects in the finished batch to a minimum. Product samples are tested using the Uster equipment laboratory, which monitors quality at every stage of production.
The participation of “Bakan Tex” and “FT Textile Group” in “Cairo Fashion & Tex-2022” is another step in the development of enterprises. The exhibition opened up new prospects for Bakan Tex and FT Textile Group. The stand of enterprises from Uzbekistan at “Cairo Fashion & Tex-2022” was visited not only by the current partners of the enterprises, but also by other companies interested in the products. Agreements with new partners were concluded at the exhibition.
